Experience and Credentials
Julie Izard is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with an Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (A.I.C.P.A.) She has over twenty-five years of experience collaborating with senior executives to articulate the story behind the numbers. Ms. Izard’s focus is on analyzing financial and business data and synthesizing complex information for top decision makers. Her current area of emphasis is forensic accounting including business valuation and litigation support. Julie’s experience is comprised of hundreds of valuation cases spanning industries including: oil and gas, real estate holding companies, technology, medical and dental practices, restaurants, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), and a variety of family-owned businesses. Her litigation support role consists of performing financial analyses and modeling for cases ranging from family law to damage calculations.
Prior to entering the private sector two decades ago, Julie filled budget and finance roles for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Denver Branch as well as for the U.S. Department of Defense, where she held Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearances.
Julie is a Colorado native and resides near Denver with her family. Her hobbies include snowboarding, surfing, travel, and any activity that involves spending time in the great outdoors. Her primary volunteer cause is poverty alleviation. The Izard family has coordinated the Kids’ Shoes project for the Samaritan House, Denver’s largest homeless shelter, for 20 years and counting.
